I lost my heart to Jewellery.

I spend so much time browsing & hunting for simple yet timeless pieces of jewellery to incorporate into my favourite mixes, so for this weeks blog I decided to share some of these finds with you.

Here are my favourite jewellery-picks for you:

DEAR RAE

"Dear Rae Jewellery is made up of natural lines and simplistic forms translated into: gold, silver, brass and copper; with the occasional gemstone. These precious pieces are designed to be worn everyday. They celebrate the beauty and ease of simplicity and translate into functional jewellery."

YOUNG FRANKK

Christine of Young Frankk just released her AW12 collection, which you can shop here. I am absolutely blown away by these timeless and unique pieces.

JESSIE HARRIS

"Graphic shapes and clean lines with heavy, elemental components. Handmade in London."

BONA DRAG

I am head over heels in love with this Ceremonial Collection from Bona Drag, a beautifully curated selection of bridal gowns and jewelry including special collaborations with Mara Hoffman, Unearthen, Lindsey Thornburg, Pamela Love, and Meredith Kahn of Made Her Think.

And least, but not last: This ring actually makes me want to getting married one day. But only if I get this ring.

Glamour Goth

We don't know whether to blame the moody, grey weather or TV's obsession with vampires, but fashion has taken a dark, gothic turn.

For Autumn/Winter 2012, the Gothic trend is big news with the catwalks dripping with velvet, crucifixes, creepers and black, black, black.
Leather, lace, and vampy lips have inspired the Fall/Winter 2012/2013 collections of Versace, Givenchy, Valentino, Alberta Ferretti and other fashion designers.

Versace AW12/13
Dark and decadent, gothic glamour is not a trend to be tried during the summer. But, as the nights are drawing in and the temperature still dropping, dark colours and bold make-up are seasonally appropriate.

But this isn’t the traditional goth we all know from our angst-ridden teen years; leather is now getting paired with lace, sheer panels and luxe velvet. Think of intricate cross necklaces, embellished stilettos and sheer, studded ankle boots and you’ll be on the right track with accessorizing. This trend is more Evan Rachel Wood than Marilyn Manson so try not to overdo things and stick to one or two key accessories.

Like what you see?
Why not get a few glamour goth pieces for your own wardrobe?
