Manon Kündig

Born in 1983 in Biel/Bienne, Manon Kündig studied at l’Ecole d’Arts Appliqués de La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. Her work shows a fascination for the human kind in general, popular culture, passions of all sorts, craftsmanship, digital media and sarcasm. Manon Kündig gives the wearer a pleasing overdose of material, colour, texture and symbolism.

Wood You Like A Wooden Bow Tie?

Whilst we've all seen the horrible LED-lit-wanna-be-party-star-ties, the joke Christmas ties and the awful pixelated ties I doubt that we have seen this before: Wooden Bow ties.

This unique idea was brought to us by the Two Guys Bow Ties. Only high quality hard to fine hardwoods,  fabrics and leathers are used for these extravagant pieces.

Who Wooden Want A Wooden Bow Tie?

Sinead Leonard - Army of female warriors

I find myself unusually attracted to these strong digital collages by Sinead Leonard, made unique by the strong pops of color, the unusal texture and the layering.

She calls these images "[An] army of female warriors... These women have the integrity and power to create and control the world married with the grace and compassion not to destroy it in the process."

Rolling beauties.

Topshop just released those dreamy Retro-style Roller skates.
Not being dramatic here, but my life is not complete without these beauties.
